UX/ UI designer
From Experienced Realtor to Passionate UX/UI Designer – Driven by Curiosity and Creativity!

I thrive on problem-solving and enjoy finding creative solutions to make a real impact. I’m someone who pays close attention to the details—not because I have to, but because I want to. I believe that it's the small things that truly make an experience memorable. My passion lies in creating designs that don’t just work, but resonate with people on a deeper level, enhancing the way they interact with technology in their everyday lives.

With over three years of experience in real estate, I’ve been recognized as the Most Recommended Realtor in Huddinge (Sweden) for three consecutive years — a milestone I hold dear. Throughout my career, I developed strong skills in communication, problem-solving, empathy, client relationship management, and data-driven decision-making. These skills have shaped my approach to user-centered design.

Outside of work, I lead an active lifestyle with daily workouts and enjoy hiking when the opportunity arises. I also have a passion for painting and crafting. These hobbies not only fuel my creativity but also provide me with a hands-on approach to design. They keep me inspired and grounded, allowing me to bring fresh, innovative ideas to my work
Storytime- How My Journey Led Me to UX Design
2017- 2019 - Real Estate Assistant
Starting as a real estate assistant in 2017, I developed a client-oriented approach and strong problem-solving skills. In 2018, I pursued formal education in real estate at the University of Gävle, all while continuing to work part-time. During this time, I assisted agents with property showings, client negotiations, and customer service, further refining my ability to collaborate and address client needs—skills I now apply in UX design.

2020: My First Sales
After completing a 2-year education, I became a licensed realtor, managing my own listings and transactions. In 2020, at just 20 years old, I was honored to be named the Most Recommended Realtor in Huddinge by Reco, based on client reviews. This recognition made me the youngest ever to receive this title in the area—a milestone I'm incredibly proud of.
2021: Establishing My Reputation
I dedicated myself fully to my goals, and my hard work paid off when I was named Most Recommended Realtor in Huddinge for the second time. This recognition reflected my commitment to exceptional service and building trust. During tough times, client satisfaction kept me going.

2022: Building on Success
In 2022, I was named Most Recommended Realtor in Huddinge for the third consecutive year. My reputation as a dedicated, client-focused realtor continued to grow, solidifying my position as a top choice in the area. The empathy I developed in real estate, listening closely to client needs, now drives my approach to creating user-centered design solutions.

2022: From Test Pilot to UX Explorer
One day, two UX designers visited our office to introduce a new service aimed at streamlining property viewings. Their concept was simple yet innovative—replacing manual check-ins with QR codes for digital registration. Intrigued, I volunteered, and my listing was selected for one of their test viewings.

The property was a fixer-upper on a spacious plot in a Popular area of Huddinge. With over 60 interested parties and the owners facing financial challenges, it was essential to maximize the sale price and collect contact details from all attendees to ensure the success of the sale.

What happened next?
The pilot test was successful, though some features needed refinement. Afterward, the UX designers and I went our separate ways, and I returned to real estate.

The experience stayed with me, and I started brainstorming potential improvements, even though UX design hadn’t crossed my mind as a career path yet. That’s when I realized my natural inclination toward problem-solving and improving user experiences.

Curious about the feature’s progress, I contacted the UX team, sharing how useful it could be for real estate. Despite the project being paused, they invited me for a meeting, which later led to a internship.

2024: Internship, Svensk Fastighetsförmedling

During my 8-week internship, I worked closely with the team on several projects, with a key focus on enhancing the seller dashboard. My main responsibility was to improve the accessibility and clarity of key information for users. I conducted user research, gathered feedback, and tested design iterations to refine the interface.
This hands-on experience not only deepened my understanding of user-centered design but also taught me how to align user needs with business objectives. The internship solidified my passion for problem-solving and further confirmed my commitment to creating intuitive, impactful user experiences.
Due to an NDA, I’m unable to share specific project details, but feel free to explore my design portfolio for additional work samples.
